As founder member Altenrath GmbH & Co. KG works in the projects schoolpool II together with the University of Wuppertal, various high schools located at Wuppertal, Solingen and Remscheid and other companies.
A close cooperation with highschool Siegesstrasse at Wuppertal is based on this project.

Because of this engagement Altenrath GmbH & Co. KG won in 2002 a price of Regionale 2006 – “Lebendige Unternehmenskultur”.
